Angela Nishizawa

I was born and raised in Colombia, and I moved to Japan over 6 years ago. What I love about both of these cultures is that you are always surrounded by colors, creativity, festivities, and happiness. 

Since I was little I enjoyed making crafts, especially to give as a gift for my family and friends. I loved using stationary, stickers, and colored papers as materials to create with.  When I came to Japan, I naturally became interested in origami.  Origami has been a tradition in Japan since ancient times,  and many of the celebrations have a handcraft that you can make to go along with it.  In my Workshops I am excited to share some of these celebrations with you!
