Connect & Learn Grant

01. Apply

First things first! Start by submitting your grant application below. A member of the Betty Brinn Children's Museum team will review your application and contact you regarding your eligibility.

02. Book

Once your application is approved, browse Workshops by activity type, age, country, or keyword. You decide if your Learners will work independently in small groups of three, or if you (or other curious adults!) would like to join.

03. Connect

On the day of your Workshop, Learners will receive an email with a custom link to join their Workshops. Then, the fun begins — enjoy learning, making, and doing with people from all over the world!

Connect & Learn Grant FAQs

What schools are eligible for the grant? 

Public or nonprofit private schools located in the Greater Milwaukee area (Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Washington and Ozaukee counties) with 501(c)(3) status.

How does the grant work?

School teachers/administrators can apply for one (1) Betty Brinn Children’s Museum Connect & Learn Grant for their classroom (up to 36 students) during the school year. 

What does the grant provide?

Grant awardees will receive Workshop Tokens in the form of online promotional codes for programs of their choice. Each promo code is redeemable for one (1) reservation of three (3) students to participate in the same Workshop. 

All Workshops provide creative, hands-on experiences led by Instructors in real-time. Many Workshops come with GLOkits, which are small kits that contain Workshop supplies, as provided by our Instructors.   

Who is the grant for?

Workshops are geared for 1st-8th grade students working in the classroom or learning remotely. 

Are there any requirements for grant awardees?

Grant awardees will be required to create an online account, complete the Workshop registration for their students within 30 days from receipt of the grant and participate in a post-Workshop survey.
